Come explore this beautiful valley nestled deep in the Limietberg mountain range, as we climb into the stunning riverbed exploring various rock pools and caves.
We start just outside the Huguenot Tunnel, as we make our way along the bank of the river. A gradual climb above the bed towards a stunning elevation showing off the vastly layered Cape mountain folds ahead.
The path levels out to an easy walking pace, as we wind through the indigenous hill tops with the entire Elands River, and its inviting pools on display below. We finally make our way back to the riverbed where we settle for a well-deserved snack at the historical Fisherman's Cave. Then we continue rock hopping around the area, exploring attractive pools and rock lounging spots.
We make our way back along the riverbed, sneaking in stops at various pools along the way, before making our way back to our end point.
