Escape into a beautiful valley nestled deep in the Limietberg mountain range. The trail hugs the riverbed with various light - but fun - rock hopping crossings, taking you past a multitude of small tempting pools. Perfect for a quick stop, before we make our way through an indigenous riverine forest. Abundant with stunning opportunities to take in the wild and indigenous fynbos of the Cape's mountain range.
The route ventures into the valley, taking you through a tranquil, deep pool nestled below an enchanting and peaceful waterfall.
We then venture further into the valley tackling some light chains, and arrive at an even bigger and deeper pool. An incredibly picturesque waterfall with the rare occasion of viewing the infamous red disas, sometimes scattered along the walls of the waterfall. Other opportunities include optional rock jumping, baboon sighting and various animal life prone to this region of the Cape.
