We begin at the stunningly kept Kirstenbosch Botanical Gardens, with immediate views of the Cape's indigenous and protected floral beauty. We then make our way through Skeleton Gorge's ravine, along the Smuts Track. Navigating through a series of ladders and mossy river boulders, we arrive at one of the famous and historical white beach sand dams atop the summit.
We then traverse across and through the summits of the SANParks eastern ravines, as we explore the rich diversity. Views of the gardens and surrounding overhangs with a unique perspective of the Cape, extending all the way through to the far neighbouring Boland Mountain Range. We finally descend down the lavish Nursery Ravine with its rich indigenous forests and tiny, yet intricate, waterfall systems to view along the way. We descend back onto the contour path, before returning to our starting point.
